Scholarship available for the next WICC meeting |

WICC Exexcutives have set aside $3000 USD to support 1-3 scholarships for those who need assistance in covering the cost of attending the next Annual WICC Meeting in Turku.
We want to bring in younger people ,especially women, who are involved in this work and are from new or emerging areas .
We will base scholarship decisions on a few criteria:
- Expertise in classification issues
- Prior work in related areas such as health statistics, epidemiology, or health ministries
- From regions other than Western Europe / Australia-NZ / North America
The next WICC meeting will be hosted by Marten Kvist in Turku, Finland, on 11th-15th of September 2016. The meeting place is Hotel Scandic Julia (http://www.scandichotels.com/Hotels/Finland/Turku/Scandic-Julia/). The program starts officially 9.30 on 11th of September. and ends after lunch on 15th of September at 13.30. There is also a possibility to have a pre-meeting on 10 of September.
We are asking interested people to apply for a scholarship. Our deadline for applications is 15th June 2016 and . Interested persons are asked to send to SHABIR MOOSA <shabir[at]drmoosa.co.za> the following.
1. A short description (1/2 page at most) of their prior work and interest in primary care classification, and why they would like to work with WICC
2. A CV or resume
The WICC executive will review all applications and make final decisions on the scholarship
